Sliding door is one that can be opened by sliding it to the side as these doors are either hung on a track or are attached to a sliding system embedded in the floor. Sliding gates or sliding doors are not only a great feature in the house it also serves as a security feature as well. Today you get sliding gates made with fortified glass which are also glazed to either keep the heat in or out. Sliding doors make for a very impressive design feature in any part of the house.
